Memory Remains.. Lonliness

Memories make us or we make the memories... Good question..the answer i guess is blowing in the wind...

It's funny how the memory remains...  it may remain in the form of a beautiful weather, a dusky twilight, an impromptu outing, or probably in the swaying of the eucalyptus tree..

may also be in the form of a heavy downpour or a gentle drizzle.... may be in the form of a song or a tune or in the form of a small chit of paper -- a bill of a roadside dhaba.

maybe a routined one of making the daily evening 'chai' for yourself and others..

may also be in the form of cooking an impromptu delicacy or bake a cake.. far from being perfect or edible yet be a sweet one to cherish for the rest of your life.

May remain among endless heartrending promises over one night's heavy drinking or may reamain amidst the lazy 'nothing to do ' moments of life..

Lots of good and few not so good...
At times can be forgettable to one while the same being unforgettable to the other..

Memories - we take pictures, we shed tears, we sing, we dance -- we celebrate.

Can it be built by one.. well I guess not or probably yes.. We have a different word for it, which I guess we call lonliness..!!

  1. Memories are a part and parcel of our life...shadows of moments that leave an indelible mark on our life...we make memories (at times unknowingly) only to later see them making us..chiselling our present with the thoughts of our past to give us a better glimpse of the days to come :)
Loneliness is sometimes the echo of our memories...its desperate attempt to cling to us to make its presence felt...to salvage itself from fading into oblivion...thanks, Dijoy...did feel the overwhelming rush of memories while reading the post!:)

Also on a different note , after seeing the photographs you have taken(thanks to FB and Picasa), make a separate blog to showcase that skill of yours too :) -- Varun

  3. Hmmmmm. I've always been confused about how I feel about memories. They should make one happy but most of the times nostalgia makes me sad. But that doesn't stop me from remembering all those good times.

Nice post! I like the subtle mentions for everyone.

    Cheers
