thoughts, drizzle and music - tonight

Random.. Oblivion.. Swaying... I feel, as it drizzles tonight. Kisses, so sweet and subtle, as raindrops keep falling on my head..

Wait! what was that song, no, it was never about kisses, it was about..

..It won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me
Raindrops keep fallin' on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red
Cryin's not for me, 'cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin'
Because I'm free, Nothin's worryin' me...

What a lovely song! Can't stop from listening to it, round and round, as raindrops keep falling on my head...

My day started with Chopin's Ballade in Fminor and what a way to cherish the night as raindrops keep falling on my head.

Drizzle, from a lazy elegance to a steady one, little pricky, rather ticklish I feel, as raindrops keep falling on my head.

Followed by 'Orange Dude blues'  a duet by John Sebastian and Annie Raines, ah! me and my jolly nodding self, I feel high as raindrops keep falling on my head.

....and the last song for the day, rather for the sweet rainy night, it seems to die down.. ..die down to a nagging one.. Wow! nagging, never felt so good. I listen to it as I get wet.

....I am just a poor boy, hmm, work's my middle name
If money was a reason, well I would not be the same
I'll stand up and be counted, I'll face up to the truth
I'll walk away from trouble, but I can't walk away from you....

:)

...love this song, thank you! love you, for this song.

ha-ha! Someone once said, it is more difficult for a writer to write than for a normal person, like you and me..
How true! I will keep on writing as much as I can and as much as I want!

Good Night!

  1. Wow! Such a refreshing post. There couldn't have been a better first post. Music, rain and good thoughts. No reason to complain in life huh? The good days are here and I hope to stay for very long.

    Cheers!

  7. Amazing, I could almost feel the drizzle, could almost visualize it. :)

Liked the languid, reposeful tempo of the post, also the way you have interrelated the pace of the rainfall with the choice of the songs to ultimately “die down...die down to a nagging one” (wow!)…that’s evocative of the perfect blend — the fusion of music and drizzle in the crevices of mind — that teases a lone soul to think, to nurture thoughts, to relate the kindling figments and to lend spontaneous expression…"If music be the food of love, play on..." Keep going! :)

Thoroughly enjoyed reading the post. Thanks, Dijoy.

  9. This is a whole lot of rubbish...it does not matter how lyrical trash is, it is still trash...This looks like a wanna be blogger ranting about his violin and his knowledge of western classical which mortals like us are supposed to be awed by.
If posting rubbish is the order of the day, then can we have some more insight into the mundane things of everyday life.
Like the midnight power cut, the uncompromising boss, the unrelenting girl friend, the sunday morning hangover etcetra.
That would should us the real life the blogger has and infact help us to identify with him.
